What we believe What We Believe

Churches of the Judea Network share...

A Common Mission:

To develop a network of churches as in the New Testament, that each embrace a value of multiplication in order to continually offer transformation in Jesus to new generations.

A Common Vision:

We envision churches birthing new churches by the power of the Holy Spirit, gathered and led by a number of overseers, which stay connected by our common mission, vision, values, and beliefs.

Common Values:

  • Prayer - the foundation of Biblical community
  • Multiplication - the way God’s Kingdom is enlarged
  • Family - God’s hope of creation.
  • Grace Orientation - God’s ability to redeem the lost, and reclaim the errors of the saved
  • Teaching & Learning - God’s journey
  • Life in the Spirit - visible manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit

Common Beliefs:

  • We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word, without error in the original manuscripts, and our final authority in faith and life.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, who atoned for the sins of all humans with His own death on the cross. Faith in Christ alone, by the power of the Holy Spirit, brings eternal salvation.

  • We believe that life begins at conception.
  • We believe that God blesses the gift of sexual intimacy only when it occurs within the boundaries of a publicly committed marriage between one man and one woman.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in community, and manifests visibly in prayer, worship, and daily life through signs, wonders, and spiritual gifts.
  • We believe that men and women of all colors and ethnic backgrounds have been created in the image of God. In our network, men and women who accept the mission, vision, values, and beliefs of the Judea network may be commissioned by God to be leaders in the church, according to both Biblical history and example, and according to the image God paints of equality in eternity, on earth as it is in heaven.

The Judea Network operates under the authority of the teaching statement of our parent church Hosanna! Our leadership are also signatories to the Dorado Covenant.
